Delicati, tenui, leggiadri e ton sur ton… azzurro, blu, carta da zucchero, panna; sono questi i colori che ho deciso di mixare per quest’outfit  di  “mezza stagione”.  Una  t-shirt, un blazer jaquard, il favoloso  e morbidissimo piumino for season, iper versatile  di Downy e una lunga gonna asimmetrica. Il tutto arricchito e impreziosito da accessori e dettagli glam come il nuovissimo zaino di Benedetta Bruzziches, i maxi occhiali blu di AleRo Design e le sneakers  gold/silver di Playhat. Un look a strati, facile, romantico, grintoso e trendy; ideale da indossare di giorno e perfetto per il tempo libero…  ma  non solo.

Delicate, faint, elegant and ton sur ton…light blue, cream: these are the colours I decided to mix for this “mid season” outfit. A t-shirt, a jaquard blazer, the wonderfully soft quilted jacket, extremely versatile by Downy and a long asymmetrical skirt. All of the outfit is enriched and embellished with accessories and glam details such as the new rucksack by Benedetta Bruzziches, maxi AleRo Design sunglasses and gold/silver Playhat trainers. A layered, easy, romantic, feisty and trendy look; ideal to wear by day and perfect for your free time… but not only.

Il nero è il nuovo blu, oppure è il blu ad essere il nuovo nero!? Qualche tempo fa, mischiare questi due colori rappresentava quasi “un’ eresia”. Fortuna che le mode, i modi e i tempi sono cambiati. Certo, è anche una questione di gusti, ma per quanto mi riguarda, amo sia il nero che il blu e penso che insieme siano davvero un’ accoppiata vincente. Ho pensato ad un look cool, easy e da città. Un look  che mi rispecchia moltissimo, fatto di imprevedibili ed equilibrati contrasti.  Una felpa  – è che felpa!- , un blazer dall’ ispirazione militare, una gonna tempestata di paillettes, collant a righe -francesi- , delle open toe in velluto, un “importante” bijoux e di rigore lo smalto rosso! Il tocco “speciale”?… I miei “capelli nuovi”. Mi mancava tantissimo la frangetta e così, insieme alla mia carissima amica hairstylist Giusy, abbiamo deciso che era giunto il momento di ritornare alle mie vecchie origini. Detto Fatto! Basta davvero poco per sentirsi diversa… a volte è utile e necessario guardarsi allo specchio con occhi diversi.

Black is the new navy blue, or is navy the new black? A while ago, mixing these two colours was preposterous. Luckily fashion, times and habits have changed. Of course it’s also a matter of taste, but as far as I’m concerned, I love both black and navy and I think that together they are a winning match. I thought of a cool, easy and city look. A look that mirrors me a lot, made up of unpredictable and balanced contrasts. A fleece – and what a fleece! – a military type blazer, a sequined skirt, stripy french tights, peep-toe velvet shoes, some “important” bijoux and red nail varnish! The “special” touch”?… My new hair. I missed my fringe alot, so with the hep of my dear friend hairstylist Giusy, we decided to go back to my origins. Said and done! It takes very little to feel different… sometimes it’s useless and necessary to look at oneself in the mirror with different eyes.

La neve è… Silenziosa, delicata, discreta, candida, pura, fredda. La neve ha un potere davvero incredibile, quello di trasformare  in un batter d’occhio qualsiasi cosa.  Tutto assume un aspetto incantato e meraviglioso. La neve è come un enorme abito che ricopre dolcemente e perfettamente tutto e tutti. La neve ci fa inconsapevolmente ritornare bambini, facendoci ricordare di quanto sia incredibile e pazzesca la natura.  Come non approfittare quindi  di questo incanto!?. .. Oggi “mi sentivo rosa”. Oggi avevo bisogno di sentire il profumo della neve… Oggi volevo ricoprire i pensieri di bianco.

Snow is… Silent, delicate, discreet, pure, cold. Snow has an incredible sense of power, something which can change anything with the bat of an eyelash. Everything takes on an enchanting and magnificent sense. Snow is like one huge garment which sweetly and perfectly covers everything and everyone. Snow makes us unconciously become children once again, makig us remember just how incredible and wild nature can really be. So how can you not take advantage of such an enchantment!?… “I felt pink” today. I had the need to smell the scent of the snow…today I wanted to cover my thoughts in white.

Mentre scrivo questo post, una ragazza thailandese mi sta facendo un meraviglioso massaggio ai piedi e alle gambe, specifico per liberare i chakra dalle tensioni e dalle energie negative. La mente è meno pesante, la scrittura più leggera. Scrivo d’istinto, di getto. Sono gli ultimi giorni dell’anno. Il 2013 è stato -lavorativamente parlando- pieno e intenso. Vivace, faticoso, a tratti sofferente. Tanti i pensieri i dubbi, le indecisioni. Il 2013 è stato ricco di nuove emozioni: forti, belle, diverse, tristi. Ma anche di rotture con persone/situazioni. Anche questa volta ho voluto dedicare l’ultimo post dell’anno ai momenti più significativi e memorabili che ho vissuto. Un piccolo modo per ringraziare Voi, “vecchi e nuovi” amici che mi seguite e mi “leggete” con costanza, amore e passione. In ogni foto c’è una parte di me: rock, romantica, glamour, noir, spensierata, colorata, malinconica e nostalgica. Mille volti ma una sola anima. Quell’ anima a tratti irrequieta  alla continua ricerca di qualcosa.
Grazie di cuore a tutti voi, perché senza di voi Dotgirl non esisterebbe. Ed è grazie a voi che nonostante tutto continuo e non mi fermo. Passione, dedizione, lavoro, creatività. In queste foto c’è tutto questo. Marcella con la sua inseparabile macchina fotografica riesce perfettamente a catturare, catturarmi. Solo con lei riesco ad essere così come mi vedete. Io! Io e miei molteplici volti. Il 2014 ? E chi lo sa! La mia domanda oramai da tempo rimane sempre la stessa: “Bimbi, cosa farei da grande”…?! Auguri, auguri di cuore a tutti voi. Cercate nei vostri sogni quello che desiderate di più… E non smettete per un solo secondo di ” lottare”… tutto può succedere. #ungiornoforse

While I am writing this post, a Thai girl is giving me a wonderful massage to both legs and feet, which is specifically aimed at freeing the chakra of tension and negative energies. My mind is heavy but my writing is more lightweight. I am writing on instinct. It is the end of the year. 2013, workwise, has been full and intense. Vivacious, tiring and sometimes painful. There have been many doubts and indecisions. 2013 has been full of rich emotions: strong, beautiful, different, sad ones. But even of broken friendships. Once again I wanted to dedicate the last post of the year to more significant and memorable moments that I have lived. In every photo there is a part of me: rock, romantic, glamour, noir, carefree, coloured, sad and nostalgic. A million faces but only one soul. That soul which at times is agitated with a continuous search for something.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone, because Dotgirl wouldn’t exist without you. And it is thanks to you that I continue and never stop. Passion, dedication, work, creativity. There is everything in these photos. Marcella and her insperable camera can perfectly capture everything aswell as me. I am only able to be the way you see me when I am with her. Me! Me and my multiple faces. 2014? Who knows! My question, which has been the same for a while now, always remains the same: “Bimbi, what do you want to be when you grow up” …?! Best wishes to everyone.
