Al press day della nota e storica azienda Binda Group, una cosa e certa: si trova sempre qualcosa di rivoluzionario, fashion e  innovativo. Tantissimi i marchi presenti:  Breil, Hip Hop, Vetta, Love Moschino, Seiko. Cominciamo da HIP HOP, orologio di gomma iconico conosciuto da tutti. Circa un anno fa ha lanciato la sua prima linea di gioielli in perfetto stile iconico del brand. Per l’estate 2013 ha pensato ad una collezione cool, straordinaria e accattivante. Si chiama ICON e comprende bracciali e anelli realizzati in morbidissimo silicone che rivisitano lo spirito inconfondibile del brand. Caratterizzati dalla zigrinatura del cinturino e dal dettaglio prezioso della chiusura in metallo lucido, conquistano anche per la loro meravigliosa palette cromatica.

Divertentissimi gli orologi mille righe che si tingono di colori diversi e creano vivaci effetti e inedite sfumature. Nuovi colori e un mood decisamente più “strong” per la linea con borchie Rock Collection.

Due invece le novità più importanti nel vastissimo mondo BREIL. La prima si chiama ROCKmantic. Una versione diversa e innovativa della classica catena. Un gioiello, due collane. Un gioiello quindi personalizzabile a seconda della propria personalità, o di come ci vogliamo sentire in quel momento: rocker, bon-ton, elegante. Con un semplice gesto – due gocce in acciaio che scivolano dolcemente su tutta la lunghezza – , la collana da catena stesa assume una inusuale forma arricciata.  Un gioiello in perfetto stile metropolitano (disponibile in quattro diverse tonalità: champagne, graphite, london blue e silver ice), giovane e di tendenza che aggiungerà quel tocco in più di eleganza  e preziosità ai nostri look!

At Binda Group’s Press Day one thing is sure: you always find something revolutionary, fashionable and innovative. Many brands are present: Breil, Hip Hop, Vetta, Love Moschino, Seiko. Let’s start with  HIP HOP, iconic rubber watch who everyone knows. About a year ago they launched their first line of jewellery in the brand’s perfect iconic style. For summer 2013 they have a cool, amazing and captivating collection. It is called ICON and includes bracelets and rings made with soft silicone which revisit the unmistakable spirit of the brand. They are characterized by the milling on the strap and by the equisite shiny metal clasp, and they also conquer for their wonderful palette of colours.

The fun, “thousand lines” ( mille righe) watches are painted of different colours and create lively effects. New colours and a decisively stronger mood for the studded collection Rock Collection.

There are two novelties in the world of BREIL. The first is called ROCKmantic. A different and innovative version of the classic necklace. One jewel, two chains. A jewel which is customizable depending on ones personality, or how we are feeling at that moment: rocker, bon-ton, elegant. With a simple gesture – two steel drops which smoothly slip along the entire length -, the stretched-out chain takes on a curly form. A jewel which with a perfect metropolitan style (available in four different colours: champagne, graphite, london blue e silver ice), young  and trendy which will add a touch of elegance and preciosity to our look!

The second novelty is called INFINITY; the first multi-use watch jewel; a real innovation in the world of watches. Infinity is a watch, a bracelet, a necklace. All you need to do is take off the casing and depending on the model you can change it into whatever you wish. It represents femininity, elegance and glamour.

GLAMOUR LIVE SHOW

Frizzante, leggera, fashion, divertente, rock….e potrei continuare ancora. Una serata super top quella di Glamour Live show. Evento iper modaiolo organizzato da Condé Nast con il patrocinio del Comune di Milano nel cuore della città, alla Caserma del Pane di Via Vincenzo Monti 59. A noi blogger di glamour, è stata data la meravigliosa opportunità di poterci affidare nelle mani di esperti professionisti della bellezza per trucco e parrucco. Mac Cosmetics e Tony & Guy (tra i partners della serata) ci hanno regalato un make-up da super star e una meravigliosa acconciatura. Tantissimi i vip e ospiti illustri presenti. A condurre l’evento i simpaticissimi La Pina e Diego di Radio Dee Jay. Un vero e proprio spettacolo, che ha visto sfilare notissime griffes: Just Cavalli, Blugirl, Tér de Caractér, Goldenpoint, Hip Hop e Alcantara® featuring Aquilano Rimondi che hanno presentato le anticipazioni più cool del prossimo autunno. Tantissima musica con un “mini” concerto della scatenatissima e super glam Solange Knowels (sorella di Beyonce’, per la prima volta in Italia) e dj set di Marcelo Burlon; insomma, non è mancato proprio niente. Completamente immersa in un atmosfera da rivista patinata,  ho trascorso  una  bellissima serata,  nella quale moda e spettacolo, sono stati (nel vero senso della parola), alla portata di tutti!

Fizzy, light, fashionable, fun, rock…. and I could go on for ages. The Glamour Live Show evening was incredible. An extremely fashionable event organised by Condè Nast with the support of the District of Milan in the heart of the city at the Pane Barracks in Via Vincenzo Monti 59. Us Glamour bloggers were given the wonderful opportunity of being placed in the hands of beauty professionals for both hair and make-up. Mac Cosmetics and Tony & Guy (amongst the partners) gave us a super star makeover and amazing hairdo. Many VIPS and distinguished guests were present. La Pina and Diego from Radio Dee Jay were the fun presenters of the evening. A marvellous show, which saw many griffe on the catwalk: Just Cavalli, Blugirl, Tér de Caractér, Goldenpoint, Hip Hop and Alcantara® featuring Aquilano Rimondi, all of whom presented cool sneak previews for next autumn. Lots of music with a “mini” concert from the wild and super glam Solange Knowels (Beyonce’s sister, for the first time ever in Italy) and dj set Marcelo Burlon; absolutely nothing was missing! Completely immersed in the world of a glossy magazine, I had a wonderful evening, in which fashion and entertainment were (in the true sense of the word) within everyone’s reach.

THE CHARM OF A SLEEPING FUN FAIR

Stavolta a fare da scenografia al nuovo outfit, un Luna Park. Nulla di nuovo in tutto ciò, solo che a noi piaceva l’idea che fosse chiuso. Non so esattamente il perché, ma ho sempre trovato in questi posti una sorta di “strano fascino e mistero”.

Un look decisamente street. Uno di quei mood che come si dice… “non passa mai di moda”! Due le vere novità di quest’outfit di cui voglio parlarvi. Le sneakers di P13 Studio (“Una storia scritta con ago e filo”. Queste le parole della creatrice, che si è ispirata alla sua tanto amata nonna, che con infinita passione dedicava gran parte del suo tempo a ricamare col suo inseparabile telaio), in canvas con deliziosi ricami in filocotone e inserti in pelle ai lati e all’interno. E’ già oggetto del desiderio invece la “appena nata” clutch-pad  Fornarina. Si chiama Mia, ed è stata  creata dai designers del brand in occasione del lancio del nuovissimo e-commerce! E’ un’edizione limitata di 100 pezzi disponibile solo on-line. Di giorno è una shoulder bag che si trasforma la sera in una clutch da polso…per diventare ancora una comodissimo porta I-pad per le giornate on the go!  Trovo che sia davvero un’idea davvero attuale e contemporanea. In perfetto stile Fornarina.

E’ stato diverso e divertente “posare” per queste foto. L’atmosfera era “strana” e alquanto retrò. In sottofondo si udivano canzoni, (vere “perle”) del nostro repertorio italiano. Ma non solo, perché c’erano anche dei ragazzi indiani, addetti alle pulizie, che canticchiavano allegramente diversi pezzi che evocano atmosfere musicali in stile Bollywood.

Insomma, se vi va, mentre guardate queste foto, immaginate anche di ascoltare “vecchie” canzoni… il tutto assumerà sicuramente un “tono diverso” 😉

This time, it was a fun fair to set the backdrop. Nothing new in any of this, but we liked the idea that it was closed. I don’t exactly know why, but I’ve always found a “strange appeal and mystery” in these kinds of places.

A decisively street look. One of those looks which never goes out of fashion! There are two novelties about this outfit which I’d like to talk to you about. The P13 Studio sneakers (“A story written with a needle and thread”. These are the creator’s words, who drew inspiration from her old grandmother who spent a lot of her time embroiding on  her loom) are canvas with fabulous embroidery in cotton threads with leather inserts on the sides and inside. On the other hand the recently born Fornarina clutch bag is already an object of desire. It is called Mia and it was created by the designers of the brand in occasion of the new e-commerce launch. It is a limited edition with only 100 pieces available online. By day it’s a shoulder bag which transforms into a wrist-clutch by night…..and which becomes a comfy I-pad carrier for your busy on the go days. I think it’s a modern day brilliant idea. In true Fornarina style.

It was different and fun “posing” for these photos. The atmosphere was “strange” and somewhat retrò. In the background songs could be heard (real jewels), real Italian repertoires. But not only Italian because there were also some Indian guys, cleaners, who merrily sang different bits of songs which evoked a true Bollywood feeling.

So, if you like, whilst looking at these photos try singing some “old” songs…..it will all take on a different feel 😉

GIO PASTORI PER HIP HOP @ DESIGN WEEK MILANO

La scorsa settimana (9 marzo), in occasione della Design Week milanese ha avuto luogo un’ evento “a tutto colore” firmato Hip Hop: “Never the same”! Un’ idea davvero originale quella che il brand degli storici orologi di gomma profumati  ha voluto realizzare e che ha visto come protagonista il noto illustratore Giovanni Pastori. Un occasione unica, per tutti gli invitati che hanno avuto la splendida opportunità di farsi ritrarre istantaneamente dall’artista. L’obiettivo era quello di esprimere nel mood dell’orologio scelto allo stile personale di ciascuno.  Il mondo Hip Hop si sta sempre di più espandendo rispecchiando e interpretando i trend più attuali: pizzo, pelle, velluto, jersey, denim, borchie. Questi solo alcuni dei nuovi modelli. Io ho scelto il modello in pizzo total white, perché quel giorno mi sentivo e mi “volevo” vedere così.

Bellissima l’ illustrazione che Gio Pastori ha creato per me. Incantata dalla maestria delle sue mani veloci e precise, ma ancora più incantata “dall’ occhio speciale” col quale l’artista ha colto tutti noi.

Un meraviglioso pomeriggio nel quale arte e moda si sono egregiamente fuse, in compagnia di simpaticissimi amici che hanno reso il tutto ancora più spensierato e scanzonato  😉

Last week (9th of March) in occassion for the Milanese Design Week, “an all colour” event:“Never the Same”! by Hip Hop took place. The historic brand, well-known for its rubber, perfumed watches wanted to create this original idea, which saw Hiovanni Pastori, the well-known illustrator as its protagonist. A unique occasion where all those invited had the fabulous opportunity of having their portrait drawn on the spot by the artist. The aim was that of combining the mood of each watch chosen to each person’s personal style. The world of Hip Hop is ever expanding, mirroring and interpreting actual trends: lace, leather, velvet, jersey, denim, studs. These are only a few of the newer designs. I chose the all white lace version, because I felt I wanted to be seen in this particular way, that day.

Gio Pastori drew a beautiful illustration of me. Enchanted by the mastery of his quick and precise hands, but even more fascinated by that “special eye” with which the artist captured all of us.

A wonderful afternoon where art and fashion came together nicely, in the company of fun friends which made it all the more fun and easy-going 😉

Un mix di stampe diverse dallo spirito casual-chic. Il cappotto di Galliano dalla linea trapezoidale che ricorda un pò il montgomery con stampa floreale effetto jaquard  è elegante e raffinato ma con quel giusto accento sporty. La maglietta dal look used è del neo brand Maggie. Caratterizzata da maxi stampa scorpione (stilizzato) e impreziosita da strass e swarovsky. Il morbido cappello in lana con stampa pizzo e dettaglio in vernice, ricorda tanto lo stile francese. Skinny jeans con risvolti e sneakers in cavallino tigrate, per un perfetto street style. Praticamente sempre con me i bracciali multi giri La Fata Gioielli. Ne basta solo uno per valorizzare immediatamente l’outfit!
“Giochi” di stampe, ( floreale effetto jaquard, pizzo e animalier), apparentemente diverse ma che insieme si legano in maniera fresca e armoniosa senza essere per niente eccessive… 😉
A mix of different prints with a very casual-chic touch. The Galliano coat has a  trapezoidal line which reminds us of the montogomery coat. It has a jaquard effect floral print which is elegant and sophisticated but at the same time has that sporty feel. The used-look t-shirt is by the new brand Maggie. It is characterized by a maxi stylized scorpion print and is embellished with sequins and swarovski. The soft lace woolly hat has patent detailing reminds us of the french style. Skinny jeans with turnups and streaked sneakers are perfect for a street style. La Fata Gioielli bracelets are practically always a part of me. Only one is needed to enhance the outfit!
Playing with prints (floral effect, jaquard, lace and animal prints) all very different but almost the same tie into one another in a rather fresh and harmonious way without being over the top… 😉
