Tarocco, ti boccio

E’ ufficiale. Odio le borse Louis Vuitton…o meglio, odio le false Louis Vuitton.

Ormai, dove giri la testa ti imbatti nella solita borsa marrone con il famoso brand name in evidenza. E la indossano con disinvoltura ed orgoglio più o meno tutte! Dalla 20enne con indosso un jeans stretch e scarpe da ginnastica (un crimine contro l’umanità) alla 50enne con gonnellone e maglione extra large (magari, con capelli adornati da quel pizzico di ricrescita che fa tanto “nature”).

Sono fermamente convita che certi “oggetti” non possano essere alla portata di chiunque, ed è evidente che una Louis Vuitton non lo potrà mai essere. Forse, la bellezza di queste borse deriva anche dal fatto che sono inarrivabili per molte comuni mortali.

Ed è per questo che preferisco una borsa semplice, ma “vera”, piuttosto che “sfoggiare” con orgoglio un tarocco.

Magari, nessuno se ne accorgerebbe, ma lo saprei io. E io stessa svaluterei il mio finto oggetto del desiderio proprio perché consapevole della non autenticità.

Sostenitrice della “regola”: “se non puoi permettertelo, non cercare scorciatoie”, lascio scegliere a voi ciò che ritenete essere più giusto.

Certo è che mi dispiace per il povero Vuitton, simbolo di raffinatezza, lusso e alta qualità artigianale, ormai sopraffatto dal contraffatto.

It’s official. I hate Louis Vuitton bags…..or to be more precise, the fake ones.
Now, wherever you turn your glance you see the usual brown bag with the famous brand stand out. And most of them wear them with nonchalance and pride! From young 20 somethings wearing stretch jeans and trainers (an absolute crime against humanity) to the 50 somethings with flowing skirts and extra large jumpers (maybe adorned with a noticeable roots which is just so “natural”).
I am firmly convinced that certain “objects” are not within everyones reach, and it is quite evident that a Louis Vuitton will never be. Maybe the beauty of these bags also derives from the fact that they are unreachable for many common mortals.
It is for this reason that I prefer a normal bag, but “real” instead of “showing off” a fake one with pride.
Maybe no one would notice, but I’d know the truth. And I’d be the one to undervalue my most desired object because I’d be fully aware of its non-authenticity.
A believer in “rules”: “if you can’t afford it, don’t find short cuts”. I leave it up to you, what the right decision is.
I am of course sorry for Vuitton, a symbol of sophistication, luxury and excellence, which has been counterfeited over and over.
